It was a "Manado Mission Trip (MMT)" by the youth of my church.
Pastors and some went on end of August, while the first batch of the youth went on friday, September 3, 2010;
Me? of course I couldn't join that day.
I left to Manado on Saturday, September 4, 2010 with other 7 friends.
I slept at 12am and woke up at 2.20am that day.. hmmm... and that's how a "dizzy-sleepy-Sindy" all begun till the day I came back to Jakarta. Yea, drowsiness for the whole week.
Green everywhere.. :) and I was like "woow...."
We arrived during potluck time.
Held an AY program at a church across Universitas Klabat.
That night my Dad picked me up, and we went to Manado.
I "fight" for a "family time". Duh! I hardly take a leave!
First it was like how it's suppose to be: participants goes home on saturday night, and should be back on sunday, anytime before monday. The next time I knew is that the regulation became like this: the family comes over to visit us at the basecamp.. haiiyaaaa!!! Please dooooonnnngggg....!!
Of course I fought for a "I-must-go-home". Geesshh..
Since we cancelled our concert for tuesday night, we then had a revival and seminar for 3 nights (sunday to tuesday) at North Minahasa: Tumaluntung and all the disagreements, finally we could go home on saturday evening but have to be back on 5pm sunday.
I was going to treat my parents at Pizza Hut in Mega Mall, but whew, Manado have traffic now! wohowww..!!
So then we turned to... *thinking* ah I forgot the place, is it Malalayang? where there are lots of seafood restaurants by the seashore :).
That was also a dinner for an early celebration for Dad's birthday that was on the 15th, 3 days after I left Manado.
Ah, too bad I didn't take the picture of my very-small-cozy bedroom.
Everything is just like before, except for the dolls on the table, she arranged it. I bet she found them somewhere.
I was so sleepy but hardly fell asleep that night, where I should actually wake up early the next morning.
My Dad woke me up, was it 5.30 or 6.30am on sunday?
gawsh..
My Dad and his co-workers had this outing at a beach.
I was still with towel on my head when we start driving. My.. my..
Arrived at Lakban beach.. yea, all grown-ups..
Thanks God I met Larry Piay, then Recky Mandias, my close friends :).
I was looking at the watch all the time, because the beach is in the opposite direction to the basecamp.
I was gonna go back to the basecamp when Mom went on the boat, going to a small island. I was suppose to call her, but then I went along, well, Eky' persuaded me to go to the island actually, I refused because of the time. But then off we went.
And.. my.. my...!!
The sight was sooo beautifuullll!!!
*tiba-tiba bau bakso nih..*
Ga puaaass foto-fotonyaaaaa...!!!!
Arrived in the basecamp at... heee.. 6.30pm ;p
but, hey, hey, I wasn't late for the seminar!! hahaha..
The MMT team held a Charity Clinic at Tumalutung on Monday.
A lot of people came!
I was one of the person who were in charge with the medicines.
I was exhausted, sleepy (always), but EXTREMELY HAPPY for helping others!!!
^____________________^
What a blessing it is in my life!!
Owh, we ate "es kacang (tanah)" after that!!!! ahaaa.. I've been longing for that!
Owh, by the way,
there was food and food and.. food there.. hahaha..
they even say MMT as "Makang-Makang Trus" hahahaaaa...
I went for Cakalang Fufu Sous all the time!! hihihihi... ;p
But, I didn't gain weight! aishh...!!
We were sent in 4 in each group for visiting and praying for the people who came for the Charity Clinic the previous day.
It was a hot sweating tuesday.
I got sunburned.
Beach and house visits on day time. Hmm..
But guess what, I love my (more) tanned skin!! ^___^
Yea, I love my skin tone just like how it is.. ^___^
I don't wear whitening...
back to the topic!
Guess what, there are lots of people out there that we can actually reach!!
They were mostly friendly (except one woman) :).
It's just on how we reach them, our time for serving others..
Wednesday noon we went to SLA, to South Minahasa.
That afternoon we were preparing for another 3 nights revival and seminar.
It was cold there..
makes me..
Thursday came, another Charity Clinic, this time at Tonsewer.
Met my elementary friend who now has 2 kids, the oldest is 9 years. Haha... *looking at myself*.
There were not as many people as the Charity Clinic at Tumaluntung, and not as hot.
There were this twin babies, a girl and a boy.
Oh, I really wanna take the baby boy home!! He's so cute, handsome, precious!!!
Well babies are so precious...
Met Papi at GPA SLA, there was a wedding held there, I borrowed his laptop.
He was wearing the batik shirt I gave him for his last year birthday gift, and the shoes, this year's advance birthday gift :).

Friday, we went back to Tonsewer for house to house visits.
Now, it's two by tow. Wheww!!
It was a challenge.
I went with Joann.
First we went to a granma's house, we had a chat, we sang for her and we prayed for her :) and off to the next doors.
What a blessing it is for me to serve other people..
hopefully they were blessed as well..
We had a nap that day, because the committees knew we were all so tired and most fell asleep during the seminar.. ops!!
On the afternoon, we arranged the chairs at GPA.

That night I was one of the ushers incharge for welcoming the guests to the seminar.
Guess what happened that night hours after the seminar started?
I fell asleep on the table.. hohoho.. but like I slept and awake off and on.. hehe..

Man, it was really a week of lack-sleeping week! But of course, a full of spiritual experiences :).
Sabbath came, we invited lots of churches for a worship together at GPA SLA.
Lots of songs.. :)
My parents came from morning :).
I went home with them that night, since my flight was on the next day, while the others were on monday.
I had "tahu kuah bakso" that night.. yummm...!!
I wasn't ready coming back to Jakarta that sunday :(
Infact, I arrived at 11.20am at the airport with my flight scheduled at 11.50am.
I was late, but I still could catch the flight, though.
Sriwijaya Air is a recommended aircraft for a LCC flight. They serves food! and also snacks and candy! Wow...:)
And..
back to routines
*sigh*
