Countdown to Skyler's 2nd Birthday

As I've said in my  previous post about me and preparation, yes, I've started preparing for Skyler's birthday which is on December 19 since September.  I'm not a "rush" person.

It's 10 days to Skyler's 2nd birthday.
The theme is SUPERHERO.

First plan was to celebrate it on Sunday, 21st of December.
That same date ada acara di Jakarta.  I'll tell about it later.
Negative.

Second plan was to celebrate it on the day, Friday, 19th of December.
Our long leave approved.  Husband proposed for 15-31 December (he actually could have it longer but since he has to be working during enrollment, so that's the date he chose).
We'll leave for Jakarta probably on the 17th.
Negative.

Third plan was to celebrate it on the 4th of January 2015.
Different year already.  But , oh well.
Fact: January 1 is on Thursday, not possible to be coming back to Bandung on that day.  The next day is Friday, probably we'll be coming back on that day.  When will I be going to the market then to shop for the stuff to cook?
Negative.

Arrrghhh..!! So no birthday party here at Bandung with his friends.

To make me happy (I know, my husband had been telling me weeks ago to cancel Skyler's birthday celebration, doesn't always have to celebrate--NOOOO!!!), I decided and proposed to celebrate in on 19th of December at my parents in law's house, Friday night with family.
I will still be decorating and prepare food and stuff :).
Let's make it fun in its' own way :).

I know I can still use this theme later when Skyler is bigger, another birthday, he'll like it, I know.  I can re-do the same theme anyway :).

I had my red skirt sewed, man.. to pair it with my blue Superman shirt.. oh well..

I'm buying Skyler a pair of red shoes, looking for a pair of red boots, and have a picture taking session using the t-shirt he's suppose to use on his birthday party.  Actually gonna take him to studio, but then it'll take a long time to have it done, so I was thinking that I will just be the one who take his pictures and print it so I can use it on his birthday.  We'll see.. :)
