Last saturday marked the 25th year I lived on earth.
The agenda for saturday night was: Dinner (didn't know where to go yet by that time), Charles & Keith hunt at Grand Indonesia, after taking CSPS's parents to the meeting point of the people who were going to Israel (if I'm not mistaken).
Fact: Went to CSPS's house, waited for the parents to arrive from Bandung, still wait for the Mom to finish her job and the Dad to pack up. When they were ready, the Dad was expecting us to take them to the airport as well, he didn't know if it was my birthday (the Mom greeted me when she arrived, she got inside the house first, so I guess the Dad didn't notice). So CSPS told the Dad that he has a date with me for my birthday, then it was the little brother who took them right to the airport, also with the cousins who stays in their house.
I lost my good mood that night when I found out something about this CSPS. I told him to take me home right away, no dinner, no shoes hunting that night. We talked for a long time and he had to apologize for a long time.
Sunday came, CSPS picked me up before lunch time. We stopped by and shopped at Carrefour. My jaw dropped when I saw the amount I had to pay. Geesshh.. Inflation! Inflation! Inflation!
It's been a long time since I last shopped with a pretty long list. Well I use to keep stocks of stuff though, I don't buy things when there's no left-over.
I bought a 700ML shampoo (so I don't have to go back and forth to the shopping centre looking for it, and sometimes they hold some variant and expose some other, and I was forced to buy another variant), the biggest size of it's conditioner, body lotion, small shoe rack for my daily wear footwear, face cleanser, deodorant, oil, cans of milk, boxes of (again) milk, oat, tissue, cans of gas for my portable stove, apples, oranges, ion drinks, air freshener refill, sponges, hand soap, bathroom cleaners, floor cleaners, etc. Those are all my needs. The only "wants" I bought was a bar of a Silver Queen chocolate, 2 packs of peanuts in a small size, mm.. what else? I think that's it!! So happy that I didn't buy lot of snacks!! Yeeehaaaa..!!
Later when I'm a wife, I want to go to traditional markets for shopping, and go hunt for cheaper place to shop for stuff :).
We then decided to go to PIM. I think I spent an hour at C&K, trying on shoes and looking at bags. Hahaha.. didn't miss trying on the shades (although I know I'm not buying it . Hehehe..). Well this guy doesn't like shoes with this and that design/model or this and that color combinations like for example blue and brown, he loves simple-elegant looking. Finally I ended up buying a pair of white wedges that I've been wanting since the beginning of the year 2010 and a pair of calf bootie in a very soft pink&gray (is it gray?), and a transparent pad. Ada sepatu coklat yang gue suka, tapi bawahnya (sole) haduh, kya mau perang ;(, udah kya ban apa yah.. tank ato traktor kali.. hikz.
I was soooo surprised when he said "Bagus. Bahannya bagus lagi kan.. bludru yang bagus.." to the calf bootie, since I thought he wouldn't like it. Even mooooore surprised when he also said "bagus" to another white calf bootie. Mannnn!! I was like "Hahhhhh?????". Wait, wait, jangan bilang karena udah lama milih-milih dan ga nemu yang pas, akhirnya itu dibilang bagus biar slesai belanjanya? LOL!
So as we agreed, he's paying the amount with the gift budget he has, and I pay the rest :).
Sepatu baru.. sepatu baru.. uhuuuyy!! ^___^. I think I'll stop buying footwear for now.
Owh, I bought a Chevrolet Police Car toy too.. hehehehe..;).
Off we went to Senayan, had an hour driving lesson. Hehehe.. I was afraid for the other cars going back and forth ;(. I don't want to pay for 2 car repair. Fiuhh!!
We missed photobox and 1 dine somewhere. I had no picture on my birthday!! Huaaa... ;( too bad.. (I was with my DSLR all the time!! Ish..).
He took me to the curch for Spiritual Revival night 3 that night, then he left.
I'm grateful for everything :). Thank you Lord.
