That one night, when my husband & I went out with the Suawahs, we went for groceries shopping, had dinner, abis itu misah, kami ambil hasil foto dari Papyrus, trus pas mau balik ke parkiran, gua ngomong "5 menit" sembari masuk ke Payless Shoestore. Suami ke tempat makan lagi karena nitip trolley belanjaan disitu (kelupaan juga sih..) eh, pas masuk ternyata Eka & Sam juga lagi disitu, jadilah nyoba2 sepatu.
Langsung mencari kotak pink (eh, bukan beli karena warna kotaknya ya!) which is merk Airwalk. Teteuuupp masih kekeh nyari sepatu taksiran awal tahun yang unfortunately udah ngga ada.. hikz.. jadi modelnya mirip kya yang diatas tapi way slimmer, trus bahas atasnya kya dari lace tebal, warna off white, trus ringaaaaannn buangetthh.. waktu itu naksir, tapi mikir "udah, jangan jadi intense buyer" eehh, tau2nya kepikiran, trus banyak alasan ternyata untuk beli: bisa di paired up with different clothes, ringan, enak buat jalan.
Sejak itu setiap kali ke mall yang ada Payless nya gua mampir untuk cek that shoes, yang keluar warna hitam, next mint, then fuschia (my fave, but I doesn't go with a lot of different colors. Besides I have a pair of fuschia airwalk hi -- not sure what it's called), then blue slightly dark, just not the cream I wanted. No more. Until now.
So when I saw this white pair, tried it on, I knew I couldn't miss this one this time. Ngga mau nyesel untuk yang kedua kalinya. (Eaa..)
I bought it.
I like it :).

A pair of UP shoes.
I never knew reviewing abou shoes can be this long. Oh well.
I knew Diana Rikasari from Aline Sasela. Years ago she told me to check out Diana's blog, "kyanya cocok deng ngana" talking about her crazy-I-wear-what-I-wanna-wear style. Hahah!!
So I followed her blog.
Then she started her shoe line: UP, concentrating on wedges (now with some sandals). She has another flat shoes line called POP Flats.
Aaanyway, I was eyeing of UP shoes since the first time they launched, but hever had the guts to buy them, since I never tried them on. They were sold online only.
Before I continue, lemme share my story with Wondershoe. I knew Wondershoe (flats) from blogging, big probability it's from Diana's blog too. They are selling the shoes online, but they got a small offline store at Jakarta. It was years ago, when I was still working at Jakarta, I visited the store, bought a pair. So I know my WS size, and the next time I was purchasing the next and next Wondershoe online. No doubt with the size.
Back to UP shoes.
As I tried to learn the size of my shoes, it's 23.5cm.
Charles & Keith, Hush Puppies, Aldo, etc, size 37.
Local shoes size 38.

What? 36? Can't be that small..
I measured my feet the way they recommend, sent them e-mail (they said if they recommend the wrong size, we could exchange the shoes--but who pays for the shipping cost?).
They replied with "37". They mentioned that they are using international sizing. But I still think that the size in the chart is not right.
Maybe around mid this year, they started selling some pairs at The Goods Dept at PIM and somewhere else I forgot, I made a post in my Instagram, the pic collage of the shoes I was eyeing on from UP, and I wrote that when I go to Jakarta, I'm going to try them on at The Goods Dept to find out my right size.
Before it happed, kak Jo went there and finally bought a pair! Yeayyy!! We got the same reason from buying them online. She also wears Wondershoe, and wear the same size as me which is size 38, so I asked her what size did she got for this UP pair, and it's 37. Convincing enough to order them online :).
On October 27th, I ordered them. It's made by order, so it takes pretty long time (for someone to wait for a box of shoes!), it says:

I tracked down the shipping code this morning and found out that it has been received by the gater/security.
I went to HUMAS office, they said it's not there yet, they'll bring it to me when it's there.
I went to the gate. Hahah! I couldn't wait any longer. lol!
So here's my first UP shoes. I tried them on, the height is just perfect. Hopefully it's comfy just like what the other girls said about it.
My husband passed by my office, I called him, showed him the shoes, he's reaction was:
"Ah jelek."
"Enak aje."
"Yakin aku, paling Februari udah ngga dipake lagi.."
"Yee, ngga. Enak aje. ble."
Hahaha..
Last week at Jakarta, my husband & I, my mom & sis in law, went to a mall, there was a C&K store with a lot of SALE items. I was trying on shoes, that red shoes is just right for sis in law's wedding next year. Hahaha.. then my husband reminded me: "katanya udah ngga mau beli2 sepatu".
Oh iya yaaa... waktu lalu gua pernah ngomong kalo mau stop dulu beli2 sepatu, pake2in dulu yang dirumah sampe pada rusak, daripada rusak di dalam kotak. I totally forgot my words. Hihihihihi..
