So what I have been preparing for months has come to an end!!

Thank you all friends and guests for coming and for celebrating Skyler's first birthday with us, what a blessing :).
The menu was a set of nasi kuning, consist of nasi kuning itself, telor dadar di iris-iris, soun goreng, ayam goreng, perkedel kentang, perkedel jagung, sambel, timun, cream soup + french bread, mie + bakso + tahu (kuah), minuman melon (dapet ide ini dari waktu ikut pelatihan di Kopertis! ha!), ice cream, pudding coklat, nutrijel biru isi gummy bentuk sea animals.. what else? Banyak juga macem-macemnya yah ternyata.. oh plus pastel, risol, brownies, dan spaghetti di pack untuk anak-anak, prepared around 50-60 pack.
Next time maunya ga serempong ini lah, maunya lebih simple, karena nyiapinnya juga pe-er banget, palagi duitnya ya.. hahaha.. gua udah ga mau ngitung lagi deh akhirnya waktu itu, takut nanti malah setress kalo tau total pengeluaran :)).
Anyways, I thought I had enough snacks and all for the dessert table. Setelah di set up dan sadarnya pas liat foto which was at the end of the party, ya ampun, sepi ya ternyata mejanya.. ada juga beberapa snack yang ternyata lupa di buka...
Goodiebag dibagi menjadi 2 kategori (halah!): yang stickernya gambar ikan paus itu untuk anak sekelas sekolah sabat Skyler dan yang seumuran dia, dan yang stickernya gambar gurita itu untuk anak-anak selain itu.
Doing all those DIYs was soooooo time consuming!! Seriously. But I was of course satisfied since I could have spent a lot more money for the deco if I had to buy everything or most of it. I bought some, like centerpiece, balloons (duh!), small buckets, 2 paper flowers, paper plates with the whale on it, paper straws.. I think that's it.
Some of us slept at 1.30 am in the morning that day doing the background for the dessert table, and continue the next day for the balloons and putting up the other stuff.
Pelajaran for next parties: MORE BALLOONS!!!! Man, like I was never a kid, I didn't think that those kids will all be asking for balloons!! Mannn.. akibatnya, acara belom bubar, balon-balonan sebagean udah pada turun.. hahahaha.. oh well :).

Hopefully :). Pengen bikin makanan anak-anaknya ala bento lunch, eh..
tapi nge-custom 50 pack itu.. sesuwatuh, yaaa...
Ga tau kenapa, suka dengan tema "Under construction". Will it be the next? we'll see..

I love all ut DIY decoration! u're so talented. 1st birthday of 1st child emang rempong and banyak maunya ya.Kebayang kamu preparationnya. Dulu ultah Gwinette yang pertama, aku bikin 30 pax bento...ishhhhh ampe mau copot pinggangku oyyy....hehehe...Thumbs up for you. Anyway tq for letting me jalan2 here on ur blog!
