I use to take conclusions from the big picture of things that happens to me or my surroundings.
Things that is more of "which can be applicable for many people".
And more of 'Lessons In Life'.
This is what I learned yesterday and this morning:
"When you can't run, just walk, one step at a time."
When you're target is to run and grab while in fact you just can't, it's better to walk one step at a time than just sit and do nothing. At least you are moving closer to your target.
"OTHERS can be your SOURCE of motivation and discouragement. But in the end, it's YOUR SELF who DECIDE on what to do with your life."
We may say "I need someone to motivate me, to cheer me up, to make me a better person.." etc.; nothing is wrong with that. But doesn't mean that you or someone CAN'T change without motivation. After all, it's you who control your self. People can say "turn right!" and you turn, but they are not the one who moves your feet. THE CONTROL IS WITHIN YOU..
Another one in Indo:
"Sesuatu yang bertepuk sebelah tangan tidak akan pernah berhasil."
Whatever relationship it is: boyfriend-girlfriend, (or even worse) husband-wife, co-workers, team-mate, you name it. When you don't have the same target and goal and doesn't have agreement on how to work on your situations/challenges, it just... won't work. Worse case: when you are just guessing how your mate feels or think.
