What a weekend!!!

Yeppp!!! WHAT A WEEKEND!!!!
Finally got the "toy" that I've been longing for for years...!!
Let me introduce you my new D5000 Nikon digital single-lens reflex =):
At first I thought the monitor will be a problem since it can be rotated, but after all, it really make a good use for self-portrait!!! ^__^

Okay,
I was actually going for a Canon 500D since I can't afford Nikon D90 (it's way above my budget for a first DSLR). Besides, it's a mid-level camera.I left Jakarta on friday morning for Bandung (it's a Moslem's holiday). Met my Bf, and we went for breakfast since I arrived at around 8.30am, some or most of the places were still closed.
After that, we went to BTC that stands for Bandung Trade Center. We went around at first, asking and comparing prices of 500D and D5000 at each stores. I almost got the 500D, but then I didn't. So we went around again, and finally found the right D5000. I don't really like the name of "D5000", that's a long name, but it actually came between D80 and D60/70 series.I got a 18-55 lens (standard), a 4GB SD HC card, and bought additional UV filter, screen/monitor protector, and a camera bag. Jakarta's price is about Rp.100-200.000 cheaper.I'm happy and satisfied with all the features. Love the rotating monitor and the live-view.
D5000 can also record.
I just have to practice more and ask other photographers for the use of each modes.
Nikon D5000 is heavy, I say, and the Canon's is lighter. But my friend said, the heavier it is, the better.Thank's God for giving me this cam =) hehehe... =) happy.. happy.. happy... =).
That same friday afternoon, a choir from Jakarta came (My Bf's), they sang during vesper program at the University.There was a holy communion service that night.Sabbath at the same University, lunch and the choir's birthday celebration at a teacher's house.That evening, we all went downtown (us and the choir members from Jakarta) for dinner, they said they saw Pasto's personel, too bad I missed it!! ufff.. ;(Went to Dago top for night view.. the city and the lights.
Others was having pictures and one of the choir members was leaning on a car that was parking among other cars, and she felt that the car was moving up and down. Hayssss... there was another car came, and the light went trough that car, it was foggy inside the car!!! bahh..
Bf tried to lean, and he said "yea, I can feel it going like "Pak! Pak! Pak!"" Haha.. gila yach..
Sunday:
Got a 3Second tee with "Eye Test" letters on it on SALE!! Yeehaaa...!! ^_^

By the way, I saw this handycam with memory card for recording. Wow...!!! *slow voice* I kinda want it.. hehehe...

Had this fruit salad during lunch at BIP foodcourt. Taste really good!!

The choir went back to Jakarta that afternoon, and me, I came back on 6.30pm arrived 9.20pm in my room. The way to the toll gate was a high traffic, the travel bus had to go by a small road to avoid. The toll to Jakarta was crowded, but luckily it wasn't that traffic.
